Pilates in Harpenden and St Albans.
Pilates exercises teach you new movement skills, gradually developing your body awareness, increasing strength and flexibility. It takes your body through a full range of movement to improve alignment and posture. Pilates is the perfect way to rebalance the body, helping undo the physical tension that the mind can cause. It can be adapted to suit all ages and abilities.
Clients are taught Pilates in a friendly, accessible and non judgmental way. I always do my best to listen to the needs of individuals and adapt the exercises to bring the greatest benefit to each person.
I am qualified to teach Mat and Reformer Pilates. I teach groups and 1:2:1 sessions. I have additional qualifications in: Pilates for Bone Health, Pregnancy and Post- Natal exercise, Older People and Pilates for Neurological Conditions. I am a Back 4 Good Practitioner which is a specialist qualification in managing Lower Back Pain.
I also have had experience of helping teenagers complete part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award by teaching them Pilates and thereby fulfilling their new skills section.
