Following last years success, Kites Connect Festival returns for 2025! With a commitment to serving our community, we celebrate unity and access in our local green spaces.

Join us for an exhilarating two-day festival as we rediscover the power of kites in connecting us all.
2 and 3 August between 10.00am and 5.00pm.

Free entry - normal car parking fees apply. Please note that we are likely to reach car parking capacity. Consider using public transport instead (a free hot drink awaits for anyone who travels by bus!)

What to expect:
- A 90-metre arena hosting a mesmerising display of kites from professional and amateur groups from around the world.
- Commentary depicting the fascinating history of kite flying across cultures and a celebration of Dunstable Down's heritage.
- A range of workshops for all to get involved in.
- Bring or buy your own kite and let loose on our designated kite flying field.
- Experience global flavours from diverse food stalls.
- Local produce and crafts.
- The chance to connect with local community organisations.
- Our usual visitor offer, with Visitor Centre, cafe and shop.
